StoneRider - Three Legs of Trouble

(4 Out of 5)

Yowsers, watch out for this hot album!  StoneRider starts off their debut album with a bang!  As you listen to more of the tracks you realize that this actually becomes a trend throughout!  There doesn’t seem to be a dull moment in Three Legs of Trouble

With some appropriately placed guitar solos and riffs I could not help but tap my feet to the beat.  This Atlanta-based rock group sure knows how to kick ass!  They have most recently been compared to the similar sounds of the Hendrix, Led Zeppelin era.  There was even a fantastic cover of “Hair of the Dog” thrown in.

How do these guys do it so well?  Focus; they know what they want for an end result and they apply everything they have to get it into each and every track.  Their ultimate goal in the album and as a band is to bring back the appreciation for great rock n roll (think Doors, AC/DC, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin) to the new generations who are unfamiliar to the sound.

They jam, simply put.  Watch out where you listen to this album, you may be tempted to started rocking out on impulse!  Keep a close eye on this band I’m sure you will be hearing more and more of them.

Recommended tracks – “Wild Child,” “Juice Man” and “Rush Hour”
