Welcome to our fun new column called "Don't Go On Tour Without It." Each month we'll feature a different band letting us know what the essentials are on tour.  The answers may surprise you!

 

This month we caught up with Skid Row at Austin's Fuel Room in Libertyville, Illinois, who told us what they always must have on the road.

 

1) Cell phone / PDA

 

2) My Native American mud flap.  Essentially this is a handkerchief, which Rachel Bolan hangs from his backside.

 

3) Cowboy hat.  "Gotta take a little bit of [Texas] with me," says vocalalist Johnny Solinger.

 

4) Earplugs!  For the airplane.  Not for the show, but for the airplane!

 

5) iPod.

 

6) Boots
