We here at Popular Underground had not checked out AugustFest in years past when the Kenosha, WI based 95 WIIL Rock radio station sponsored it. Last year was monumental as Chevelle headlined the event. This year was no let down. Yes, it was hot, yes, it drew all sorts of interesting people and yes, it friggin' rocked! Main stage bands like Filter and Shinedown were larger than life, but even the second stage bands like Midnight to Twelve, Another Black Day and 12 Stones were entertaining. We showed up early with our camera in our hand and came out with a ton of pictures.
