I found a “brand new kind of
love” for ABM’s debut Self-Titled album! This
Louisiana band is fantastic! Another Big
Machine is comprised of Justin McCoy (lead
vocals), D White (guitar), Dane Carmouche (bass
and vocals), and Lynn Boudreaux (drums). For
their debut album, they have produced exactly
what I had expected since interviewing them
several months back.
Let’s just face it, these guys
can really rock out! There is fluidity
throughout the lyrics, harmonies that perfectly
sync together, and just an overall togetherness
within their sound. Off the bat you can rely on
the lead singer’s clean, crisp, and concise
voice and can see his passion or better yet
their passion for the music that is being
produced. The upbeat peppy lyrics back up the
cross of emotions encountered throughout the
album ranging from new found love all the way
down to anger. Just the overall quality of the
album alone is amazing. I’ve said it once and
I’ll say it again, watch out for this group they
definitely have what it takes to give some of
these top bands quite a run for their money! To
get a better idea of what kind of music ABM
sounds like I would compare them to Lifehouse or
Matchbox 20. Have a listen, although I don’t
doubt you will like what you hear!
